Mainland China reported the first case of swine flu. The suspect is a 30-year-old man who flew to Chengdu from St. Louis last week, according to the country’s ministry of health and reported by CNN.
The man, identified by his surname, Bao, which is currently enrolled in a university in the United States. He is said to be in stable condition at a Chengdu hospital, according to city officials. His father and girlfriend, who met him at the hospital, have been placed in quarantine. The taxi driver who took him to the hospital also placed in quarantine too.
